The WEST VIRGINIA BUREAU OF EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS has issued a Revised Unemployment Benefits posting effective July 2005! West Virginia's Commissioner has issued the new Unemployment Compensation Benefits Table. The table consists of proper and lawful Wage Classes, Wages in Base Period, Weekly Benefit Rates, and Maximum Benefit Rates. The posting has also been updated with reference to the Governor signing HB 2163 into law on May 4, 2005. Effective July 10, 2005, Social Security retirement benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act are no longer deductible from weekly benefit amounts and that Social Security Numbers will only be printed on the most pertinent documents as a safeguard to your identity.
