On Thursday, May 26th, Wisconsins Secretary of the Department of Workforce Development, Roberta Gassman, issued a public service announcement regarding the new Wisconsin Minimum Wage increase. The Minimum Wage for adults will increase from $5.15 per hour to $5.70 per hour effective June 1, 2005. The new minor rate is $5.30 per hour. Wisconsins minimum wage rules also contain a number of specialized pay rates for persons employed in certain types of work that is included on the NEW Minimum Wage Rate posting. The minimum wage rate for Wisconsin tipped employees does not change.
A change has also been made to the "Notification Required for Cessation of Health Care Benefits" posting.
