CPC’s UPDATE NOTIFICATION SERVICE
FLORIDA All-On-One™ POSTER REVISED
STATE MINIMUM WAGE FOR FLORIDA!

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2006
-- New Industry Specific poster--
For Public Lodging & Public food Service Establishments

You are receiving this 2nd update notification as part of our promise to keep your FLORIDA labor law postings up-to-date.  A revision has been made to your FLORIDA All-On-One™ poster dated 5/2005 or before.

As you know from our previous Update Notification, the Florida State Minimum Wage has been increased to $6.40 effective January 1, 2006

In addition, the Florida Department of Revenue has REVISED both the English and Spanish mandatoryUnemployment UCT-83 posting.  This revised posting corrects error on the address for the Unemployment Compensation Claims and Benefits office and the text has been changed to clarify the areas of “disqualified” employees and where the funds come from to provide the unemployment payments to eligible employees.

If you have already placed your order for your new Florida All-On-One™ poster, it will include both the State Minimum Wage and Unemployment posting revisions.  The posters are currently being printed and should be ready to ship so you will be in compliance January 1, 2006!

The Florida minimum wage applies to all employees in the state covered by the federal minimum wage laws.  “Tipped employees” wages “direct and tips” must equal the new Minimum Wage of $6.40.

Although Florida State Statutes do not require a Florida Minimum Wage posting, the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division informed Florida’s Agency for Workforce Innovation that employers must inform their employees of the difference between the Florida Minimum Wage and the Federal Minimum Wage.

To provide employers with an excellent method of proving you have informed your employees about the Florida Minimum Wage, CPC added the Florida State Minimum Wage information to our Florida All-On-One poster.  The posting includes the following information:

  • Florida State Minimum Wage
  • Tipped Employees
  • Retaliation Enforcement
  • Employees affected by the State Minimum Wage

The FLORIDA All-On-One™ Poster includes all your required State, Federal (except the USERRA Federal posting sold separately) & OSHA postings.
