The Arkansas Department of Labor has revised the "Notice to Employer & Employees" posting. Due to the passage of HB1839, mandatory revisions have been made to the "Child Labor" section in regards to the number of hours minors can work within a 24-hour period. Limitations for minors 16 to 17 years of age between the hours of 6 to 11 p.m. on non-school nights do not apply if the Arkansas DOL deems the occupations sufficiently safe for their employment. The category of Sports Referees has also been added to the occupations unacceptable for children under the age of 14.
