OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) Training Deadline Soon

OSHA Hazard Communication Standard Label and Pictograms Poster
OSHA has revised the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), changing the way information about chemicals in the workplace is communicated to workers. The new standard is based on the international Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). Compliance with the new HCS is mandatory for all businesses that regularly handle, store, and use hazardous chemicals.

Under OSHA’s HCS Final Rule, employers have until December 1, 2013, to train employees on the new HCS label elements and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) format. Compliance Poster Company makes training and compliance easier. CPC’s new OSHA Hazard Communication Standard Label and Pictograms Poster complies with the new HCS and is an important training and ongoing reference tool.

Our comprehensive OSHA Hazard Communication Standard Label and Pictograms Poster includes:

  • OSHA Sample Label that identifies mandatory label elements and provides a descriptive summary for each element,
  • HCS pictograms chart with each of the nine pictograms, hazard classification and the associated physical, health and environmental hazards,
  • Transport pictograms chart that identifies 14 DOT symbols and describes the nature of associated hazards, and
  • Includes free insert/downloadable HCS Label Training Sheet.
